How to be VIP in the nightlife scene!
I’ve decided to create this HubPages after some comments on my website of people asking me how to be VIP in the major bars and clubs of they’re city. Honestly after thinking about the question I’ve realized that being VIP is something unique and that everyone should experience it at least once in they’re life.
First of all, have you ever waited in line at the biggest club of your city? Sometime its sunny but a lot of the time its raining, snowing, cold or too hot and you are stock there for 10, 15, 30 minutes or sometime couple of hours just to get in to enjoy your night.
Three years ago I’ve decided to start my own entertainment company. We started really small with some local events and with time we growth to bigger events with some major artists and now we are making some major events and some festival around Canada. With my business I’ve meet some important people and nearly every bar & club owner in the country so for me it’s really easy to go in and out but every time my friends are asking me for help or connection to go in the local events and to feel the feeling of being VIP.
So now the technical part
1. Every bar or club is in business because they have some independent or in-house promoters. One of the main keys is to start by searching on Facebook or any social media marketing they use. 99% of the time, you will see who is doing the event.
1.1. After seeing witch promoters is making what, encourage them by following them, write feedback on they’re blog or web site, like them on Facebook. This type of interactions always put a smile on any promoters company because they are seeing that they’re public is loving they’re work.
1.2. Don’t forget promoting a club or an event is a real job promoters are still there for them and not for you. They need to make money as you need to make money with your work so don’t expected to get free access everywhere just by liking or commenting on they’re work. You still need to be on they’re good side.
2. How to be on they’re good side. Sometime promoters have some competition with other promo company. The best way of being on they’re good side is to go out and enjoy they’re work. If they see you at they’re event they will come and say hi and talk to you because you are always there. Don’t waste all your money to go clubbing thinking you will have it free after.
2.1. Promo businesses are making small, medium and large event. Normally the small and medium events are running on guest list. Easy ways for you to enter free or to save money on they’re normal cover. This way you will go out to they’re event and start to be VIP.
2.2. Promoters are still human beings. Great ways to be on they’re good side is to go and say hi to them and just being polite. 80% of them will recognize you next time you will wait in line and you will maybe be able to save the line-up or the cover charge.
3. The main trick is after being able to communicate with them don’t forget to ask they’re contact information in case you need guest list hook up or ticket. They will be glad to have one more costumer in they’re data base and you will have some VIP features. Always keep a good vibe with them and I guaranteed you they will take care of you. They’re success is running on having some regular clientele.
Extra tools:
If you are too lazy or you don’t have time or the resources to talk with some local & regional promoters you can still use some web site to help you get in some major clubs.
Canada
United States
Great way of saving time and its groups of promoter’s together targeting the same thing just via different way.
